The European Union has AGAIN Revised the Roy Standard

Recently, European Standard Committee has amended and issued the new toy (electronic toys and non-electronics toys)standard Version EN 71-1:2011+A3:2014 Physical and Mechanical Standard, which has a new explanation and regulation towards spare parts scope, warning signals content, package requirements and so on.

According to the Toys Valley, European Union EN-71 is the most complete safety standard in the world, which it regulates the strict testing requirements of mass production in the different period. Any batch of toys exported to Europe should be tested under this standard. It is reported that the EN71 has 3 parts which are respectively are physical and mechanical performance testing (EN71-1), inflammability (EN71-2), 8 poisonous metal content test (EN71-3).

From the updating content, there are mainly three changes in it. First of all, because the paper board may be squeezed into deformation and softened after being watered, when it is not used to connect or support spare parts, it can be get rid of the spare parts requirements. Secondly, in order to strengthen the vision and readability of warming, this standard has suggested the detailed guidance to the place, color, font and location of the warming signals. The new standard is more strict and detailed. Last but not the least, it is the explanation about the package requirements, spare parts flexibility and the precision specification and so on.
